Destinasiku Korea : Visiting Palace - GYEONGBOKGUNG

1- Gwanghwamun Gate and the Palace Wall
Four gates tell of the dynasty's glory (Gwanghwamun, Yongseongmun, Heungnyemun, Hyeopsaengmun)

2- Geunjeongjeon and Vicinity
Main throne hall of the palace. The name means 'all affairs will be properly managed if Your Majesty demonstrate diligence'.

3- Donggung and Vicinity
Residence of the crown prince. The crown prince was regarded as a rising sun, which is why his living quarters were built to the east of the king's palace.

4- Hyangwonjeong and Geoncheonggung
King Gojong's palace within a palace. In the rear garden of the concubines' quarters is a square pond named Hyangwonji, in the center of which lies an islet.

5- Gyeonghoeru Pavillion
The apex of architectural beuaty. It was where the king threw formal banquets for foreign envoys. The king and his party went up to Gyeonghoeru to enjoy a sweeping view of the palace and Mount Inwangsan.

Part ini sahaja yang sempat di rakamkan. Selebihnya memang menarik.

Lain-lain area.
a- Sajeongjeon and Vicinity -Where the king managed routine state affairs.
b- Gangnyeongjeon and Gyotaejeon - A glimpse into everyday life in the royal household.
c- Heumgyeonggak and Hamwonjeon - Buildings near the Inner Court served the needs of the royal household.
d- Jangyeongjeon and Vicinity - Queen dowager's residence.
e- Hamhwadang and Jipgyeongdang - Residence for concubines and court ladies.
f- Jibokjae and Vicinity - Harmony of Qing Chinese and traditional Korean styles.
g- Taewonjeon and Vicinity - King Gojong strives to secure legitimacy for his rule.

Last sekali dekat pintu keluar ada National/Folk Musuem. Berminat boleh lah masuk.

Simpan tenaga untuk cari next place pulak....
